Introduction of Horizontal Mixer

The horizontal mixer is composed of two screw shafts with opposite directions. The opposite or reverse rotation makes the material in the machine toss, convect and mix, and together, under the spiral effect formed by the blades, it is pushed from the inlet to the outlet. According to the needs, the spray system sprays the water mist into the material, so that the dry-dry or dry-wet can be mixed and mixed.

Use of Horizontal Mixer

Horizontal mixer is mainly used for anti-cracking mortar, thermal insulation mortar, bonding mortar, plastering mortar, floor mortar and other dry powder mortar and medium and high-grade putty powder that require high mixing uniformity. It is not suitable for mixing raw materials with particularly large spray volume and material viscosity.

Working Principle of Horizontal Mixer

The working principle of the horizontal mixer is that the material in the machine is subjected to the action of two oppositely rotating rotors and performs a consistent movement. On the one hand, the propeller drives the material to rotate counterclockwise along the inner wall of the machine slot, and on the other hand, it drives the material to turn left and right, forming a weightless area where the two rotors overlap. The material is floated in an instant weightless state, which enables the material to be continuously turned in all directions in the machine tank, and sheared staggeredly with each other, so as to achieve the effect of fast, gentle and uniform mixing.

The axis of the main shaft forms an included angle of 45°, which effectively solves the problems of segregation and secondary agglomeration of fibers caused by different specific gravity of materials. 4.
